She also enjoys deep and meaningful conversations, and the beautiful richness found in cultural diversity.
Cyndy has had personal encounters with death, addiction, and other challenges. She is a Christian who knows what it’s like to keep both faith and dark struggles hidden in two separate worlds. She says, “learning to acknowledge (and then embrace) ALL sides of myself as a whole being made all the difference for me. That’s the difference I offer you.“
Cyndy has a deep spiritual conviction that guides her personal life decisions. so she deeply respects the same in others – whatever that looks like for you. While there are still aspects of life and how she deals with them she still struggles with, she now has tools and supports in her life to help her face those struggles without becoming overwhelmed or consumed by them. Which is what she wants to provide for you.

Our personal experiences shape how we react and respond to things that happen in our life. The same is true for me. Because of my many personal experiences, including family alcohol addiction, and my mother’s early passing after a journey with cancer, I can relate to what you are going through.

We are A Full Service Counselling BC Practice
At Grace Extended, we consider the whole person… not just one area of your life. This is because we know how issues in one area of your life can affect all the other areas and members in your life. So, we offer counselling that will help you address the main issue AND the areas that may be the root cause and/or effect as well.
A Personal Message from Cyndy Ramsay
Have you ever yearned for a space where you could be your real, authentic self? A space where you could bring all your “stuff” and share it, talk it out, work through it… without judgement and without needing to censor yourself?
I’ve been there.
I’ve felt that kind of yearning.
I’ve had interactions with people in my life with whom I avoided sharing my Christian faith or spirituality for fear of judgment. I’ve also attended church groups where I kept my dark struggles hidden, afraid to share because I thought it would be “too much” for those around me to hear… fear of judgement here too.
Did you catch some key words here?… “real”, “authentic”, “yearning”, “fear”, judgement”.
Then I had an amazing experience of participating in a Christian group for
folks concerned about loved ones struggling with addiction – WOW!
I learned what it felt like to acknowledge all sides of myself as a whole being and speak out loud everything that was in my heart and head.
That experience made all the difference for me. That’s the difference I want to make for you.
To be clear, my practice is not restricted to only people who identify as Christians. We don’t need to share the same religious beliefs.
What this means to me, and how it’s represented in my practice, is this: because I have a deep spiritual conviction that informs my own personal life decisions, I deeply respect the same in you, whatever that looks like for you.
Are there aspects of life and how I deal with them that I still sometimes struggle with? Yes, absolutely! And I now have many tools and supports in my life to help me face those struggles without being overwhelmed and consumed by them.
If you’re open to accepting a little grace into your life and curious about the possibilities that openness may bring, I’m here for you.
